Matthew Ryan, MA, LPC, NCC
Matthew Ryan is the Owner of Ryan Counseling. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Clinical Supervisor for Residents in Counseling. He has been working in the psychology field since 2002, and in private practice since 2010.
As a former NCAA D1 athlete, Matthew feels strongly that exercise is an important component of a healthy mind, body, and soul. He has a sharp interest in incorporating this philosophy into his work as a licensed mental health therapist.
He currently serves clients in the McLean, Virginia area through Ryan Counseling, his personal practice. He was nominated and featured in 2012, 2014, 2017, and 2022 Northern Virginia Magazine "Top Doctors."
